Democrat Herald/Gazette Times Litering Lawns

It appears the Democrat Herold/Gazette Times decided to give away mini papers titled "This Week" chock full of ads to Corvallis residents - even those that have not asked for it. Residents now wake up to a paper on their lawn complete with one or two plastic bags. Never fear, your paper is recyclable. Of course, that requires that you drive your papers to a recycling area or have waste removal services. If you do not remove the paper and allow them to accumulate at some point you may get in trouble with the city for garbage in your yard.

This time at 2:29am, on a Friday night. 3 individuals walked along a sidewalk. 2 of the individuals crossed to the other side of the street while 1 individual stumbled across the front yard of a home. It appeared that he tried to catch himself on a tree and broke off a main limb. The individual looked as if he had a bicycle helmet on. Very grainy night time video has captured this incident.

Kip Schoning's Bula Enterprises in News Again

Another story on Kip Schoning's Bula Enterprises graces the Gazette Times newspaper. The article discusses a woman in Sweet Home unfortunate enough to rent a Schoning house. The issue at hand is tenant vs. landlord - if the landlord is responsible for the maintenance of the home, how can the tenant be responsible for charges due to the lack thereof? A horrible water leak has left the woman with a $900 water bill and her inability to pay both water bill and rent.

Entertainment for Thanksgiving

You have friends and family over. You've eaten dinner until every feels as stuffed as the turkey on the table. The leftovers are put away and the dishes in the washer.

And nobody likes football. What to do?

Turns out Carmike and Regal Cinemas are offering family friendly movies throughout the holiday. Here are some possible picks:

1. Megamind 3d - Carmike. A DreamWorks animation portraying with villain needing a new nemisis. Who can resist the voices of Tina Fay, Brad Pitt, and Will Ferrell?
